To All C.I.R.A.S. members,

In accordance with the C.I.R.A.S. by-laws, a special meeting is being called (Article II, Paragraph 3) by at least one-tenth (1/10) of the membership. The meeting is being called at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, December 19^th at RACOM, 201 West State Street, Marshalltown Iowa. The purpose of the meeting will be election of officers before the current officer’s terms are up. It is anticipated that the meeting will take 15-20 minutes.

This meeting is being called by the following members:

The 2008 C.I.R.A.S. Field Day has been scheduled to occur at the Albion Fire Station. Mike Starn (KD0AUR) and the Albion Fire Department have graciously offered the use of their building and generator.

Mike is also heading up the preparations/setup for this year's Field Day. Please contact Mike if you are interested in participating or helping organize/setup for Field Day. Also keep watching here on www.k0miw.org for further information.

The June 2008 C.I.R.A.S. club meeting will have a special program following the regular meeting. Bill McLain, K0LXS, will give a talk on proper grounding techniques.

The June meeting will be on June 12th at 7:00 p.m. (eat at 6:30 p.m.) at the Hy-Vee Deli in Marshalltown Iowa.

At the last general membership meeting, the day of the next meeting has been changed to the second Thursday of the month. Which would make the next meeting May 10th 2007 6:30 PM eat and 7:00 PM meeting. This will happen at the Hy-Vee Deli eating area. Hope to see you all there.
