C.I.R.A.S. Central Iowa Radio Amateur Society

The Marshalltown VE Team recently conducted it's first test session on Saturday December 17th at the RACOM building in Marshalltown Iowa.

Present for the VE team was:

Brian Krumm, N0MXK, Team Liason
Richard Allen, N0CFL, helping out from the Des Moines team
Tom Bickett, AE0TB
Ryan Butler, NF0T

Also present was Evan Folk, WC0C who has completed his VE requirements and should be a credentialed VE by the next session.

We had two test takers including a new license applicant and a upgrade to Extra applicant.

We will be having meeting in the following months of 2010.
These Meetings will take place at Pizza Ranch south Center St Marshalltown, IA
6:30pm EAT 7:00pm Meeting

Meeting will take place the Second Thursday of the month.....

Members of Ciras came in to vote and pay dues for 2009 Meeting started around 5pm and Motion was made to adjorn the meeting by Brian Krumm and seconded by Ryan Butler at 6:01pm.

To All C.I.R.A.S. members,

In accordance with the C.I.R.A.S. by-laws, a special meeting is being called (Article II, Paragraph 3) by at least one-tenth (1/10) of the membership. The meeting is being called at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, December 19^th at RACOM, 201 West State Street, Marshalltown Iowa. The purpose of the meeting will be election of officers before the current officer’s terms are up. It is anticipated that the meeting will take 15-20 minutes.
